As they say, no man is an Island and we couldn't have done this without our supporters. These are the people who believed and supported us from the onset. They are our ambassadors and early adopters who donated their time/money to help us succeed.
Since moving to Leicester almost 20 years ago, Brian has been proactive and determined when exploring engagement within the African Heritage community. He has gone from being one of the founding members of Leicester Black History consortium, an organisation which advocates and supports business by increasing their profile within the voluntary and private sector.
He also advocates for the importance of mentoring. He works with young people and families to overcomes adverse childhood experiences through a range of resources, including workshops, training and 1:1 support.
Brian’s current entrepreneurial venture includes the family business of mobile a hair braiding services, ‘Cherub Braids. Which also offer training for parents and careers how parent and care for African Heritage children. He has also been developing and delivering tailor-made cultural trips within the UK and in Africa; in particular, The Gambia.
